Originating in Britain, high tea was traditionally a meal for the working class, usually consisting of a cup of tea and toast or meat pie to help get workers, without the luxury of a substantial lunch break, through the day. The service evolved into “afternoon tea” for the upper classes and included finger sandwiches, scones, and other delicacies, but still served as a refreshment to hold one’s appetite over from lunch to dinner.
Adda’s High Tea service is a little something different. We take the classical elements of High Tea and give them a little more excitement through our diverse tea menu, naturally allergen-friendly menu and colorful spread.
We offer unlimited tea service with a variety of Rishi green, black, white, oolong, and herbal teas. Along with traditional teas, we offer Blue Jasmine tea lattes, made with jasmine tea, pea blossom syrup and steamed oat milk, for a rich, velvety indulgence.
High Tea at Adda turns afternoons into a unique occasion to spend time with friends and family or turn a small group gathering such as a baby or bridal shower into an extra special memory.
